Rayna Manger Tedford was born in Houston, Texas, USA. Active in the arts most of her life, she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography at the University of Texas at Austin 1999. She completed her Master of Fine Arts in photography and media arts at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2003.

She continues to show her work at venues throughout the U.S. and the world. Her work has recently been exhibited at Galeria de Arte Fotographico Meliton Rodriquez in Medellin, Colombia, Clos de L’Abbaye Galerie, Paris. the Soho Photo Gallery in New York City, and the Jazz Bakery Gallery in Los Angeles, California. Her work has toured the U.S. in the Texas Photographic Society’s Alternative Processes Traveling Exhibit. She is currently teaching photography classes at the Colorado Photographic Arts Center.
